HOW A WAYPOINT GETS BUILT

A six-figure custom build shouldn’t feel like a leap of faith. Here’s exactly what happens, what it costs to move forward, and what you get at every step.

01 CONSULT — Free · 30 minutes. We talk trips, people, gear, pets, seasons, and budget. You get straight answers on cost and timeline, whether or not we’re the right shop for you. We respond to every inquiry within one business day.

02 DESIGN — 3–4 weeks · $2,500 design deposit (credited to your build). Layout drawings, systems spec, materials, and a fixed price. Two rounds of revisions included. You approve everything before we order the first part.

03 RESERVE — $5,000 build-slot deposit (credited). Your rig goes on the schedule and we order long-lead components. You always know where you are in line.

04 BUILD — 8–14 weeks. Fabrication, systems, cabinetry, finish. Photo updates every Friday; milestone check-ins and payments at 25 / 50 / 75 percent. Shop visits welcome — it’s your rig.

05 HANDOFF & BEYOND — Delivery day · balance due. A full walkthrough of every system, a printed owner’s manual for your specific build, a 30-day shakedown checkup, and our 3-year workmanship warranty.
